Gary Goodnough

Gary Goodnough came to PSU and the Counseling and Human Relations Center in 1995.

His credentials are:
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
National Certified Counselor (NCC)

Biographical data:
Gary received his Ph.D. in Counselor Education from the University of Virginia in 1995. He is professor and chair of the Counselor Education and School Psychology graduate programs. Gary's counseling work with students focuses on helping them come to terms with their childhood and teenage experiences. He has special interests in the areas of substance abuse and issues affecting the personal growth of university men and women.

PSU committees and involvements:
Coordinator of the Graduate Counselor Education Program; Co-Executive Director of TIGER (Theatre Integrating Guidance, Education and Responsibility); Co-Chair, University Planning Committee.
