Scott Meyer
Scott Meyer joined the Counseling and Human Relations Center staff
in Fall 2003.
His credentials are:

Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work
Biographical data:
He is a professor of Social Work. He is director of field education
for the Social Work department. He previously taught at Curry College
and Roger Williams College. He served as an adjunct professor at Smith
College as a research advisor. He was an executive administrator at
Boston University School of Medicine, Division of Psychiatry and served
as a clinical instructor of psychiatry. He has been engaged in both
public mental health and private practice settings. Scott has been at
Plymouth State since 1987.
PSU committees and involvements are:
Advisor for the Social Work Club; member of PSU Institutional Review
Board; Society for Scholarly Dialogue.
Community involvement:
Evaluator at UNH Cooperative Extension Children, Youth and Families
at Risk Projects and board president of the Plymouth Regional Clinic.
Scott's hobbies include:
Running, hiking, playing guitar and Scrabble.

His family, friends, dogs and chocolate. He abhors violence of all types.
