NR3020 - Introduction to Patient-Centered Care
Introduces nursing students to the theoretical framework encompassing the knowledge, attitudes, and skills required to practice as a nurse in the future. Students learn to provide individualized care that recognizes patient’s preferences, values, and needs, and respects the patient or designee as a full partner in providing compassionate, coordinated, appropriate, safe, and effective care.
