About Professor Mitchell


Professor Annette Mitchell Coordinates the Drawing Program at Plymouth State University. She teaches Drawing:  Figure in Color and a graduate level printmaking course for the College of Graduate Studies.She teaches workshops in the printmaking process that she pioneered using polystyrene foam as a block printing medium. Her book and DVD teaching her process, Foam Is Where The Art Is–New Ways To Print, are nationally known and carried by a major art supply catalog. Mitchell’s print process has been acknowledged and reviewed in magazines such as American Artist Magazine, Somerset Studio and SchoolArts Magazine. She maintains an active studio at home and participates in many exhibitions.
