Professor Frank J. Kopczynski received his B.S. in mathematics and engineering from the United States Military Academy, his MBA in management from Plymouth State College and his Ph.D. in accounting and finance from Union University. He was certified as a CPA by the New Hampshire Board of Accountancy in 1983 and by the Vermont Board of Accountancy in 1994. Also in 1994, he received a CMA in management accounting from the Institute of Management Accountants. At PSU, his courses include Seminar in Executive Management, Management Accounting, Accounting Information Systems and Cost Accounting.
Dr. Kopczynski: has been a member of the Board of Editorial Advisors for the AICPA’s Journal of Accountancy for 17 years; was on Board of Directors of the New Hampshire chapter of the IMA for 12 years; is a member of Institute of Management Accountants; is a member of the New Hampshire chapter of the NAA; was a member of the Vermont chapter of the NAA; is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants; is a member of the New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants; was a member of International Association for Financial Planning; was a member of the American Production & Inventory Control Society: was a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association; was a member American Accounting Association; and was a member of Mensa.
