Dr. Lazdowski is an Associate Professor of Accounting at Plymouth State University.  She has over 20 years’ experience in the fields of accounting, information systems, and management, having held positions at New Hampshire Ball Bearings, Textron Corporation, Kollsman Corporation, and Fleet Corporation.  She earned a BS in Accounting/Management (double major) from Franklin Pierce College in 1984, an MBA in 2004 from PSU with a certificate in Finance and Investment.  Dr. Lazdowski started her teaching career in 2005 and completed a Doctor of Business Administration in Accounting in 2007 from Argosy University.  In addition, she has certifications as a CMA (certified management accountant), CFM (certified financial manager), and is a CPA review instructor for Becker.  Her primary research interest area is accounting history, and Dr. Lazdowski frequently presents papers at national and regional conferences of the American Accounting Association on this and other topics.  She lives with her husband and three children in central New Hampshire, where they enjoy outdoor activities and family vacations.
