This course provides an introduction to the history, terminology, investigation and legal issues related to internet and computer crime and the examination of digital evidence. Topics covered will include but are not limited to sex crimes, hacking, cyberbullying, financial scams and fraud, cyber-terrorism and espionage, behavioral profile of offenders and computer forensics.

CJ 3250 - Management and Planning in Criminal Justice
Credits: 3
An examination of the principles of organizations and management which may be applied to criminal justice agencies. Topics include leadership, motivation, performance evaluation, administrative planning, resource allocation, program budgeting, and planned organizational change. Examines agency interaction with the external environment. Spring of odd years. Prerequisite(s): CJ 1010.
