Criminal Justice Organization

The CJO is comprised of criminal justice majors and other students interested in criminal justice. Because we are a student-run organization, we host events and activities based on current student interests. Some activities we have sponsored or been involved with include:

  • hosting an exonerated death row inmate at PSU,
  • participation in the Walk a Mile in Her Shoes (a walk in support of preventing rape, sexual assault, and gender violence),
  • paintball games,
  • and most recently, the Criminal Justice career fair, held late in the spring semester.

We are always looking for new members! For more information, please send an e-mail to

“The professors use their real life experience to enhance the classroom atmosphere, and convey information in a way that engages and challenges their students. They want to see their students succeed, and will give them the tools to do so.”
