About Professor Philips

Ashley Phillips, a Texas native, is passionate about sharing the human experience through stories. Her passion led her to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Film from Emerson College and a Master of Education in Organizational Health from Plymouth State University.  While Ashley’s full time job is in Human Resources, a career she believes is critical to the shaping and understanding of the human experience, she maintains a focus on critical and creative thinking by teaching the general education course The Digital Imagination. The Digital Imagination introduces students to the fundamentals of the creative process via Adobe Photoshop and Flash while also challenging students to think critically about the world around them through an exploration of contemporary media.
