About Brian Walker

Brian Walker is faculty member of the Elementary Education and Childhood Studies Department at Plymouth State University, where he directs the North Country Teacher Certification Program.  An educator with over fifteen years of experience, Brian specializes in studying how socioeconomics and education intersect. His broad range of experiences have led him from teaching elementary school in inner city Chicago to coordinating outdoor education programs at the Appalachian Mountain Club, and providing college financial aid education to families in New Hampshire’s North Country.
