Publication Practicum

Practicum in Publication (EN 3030) is a means of giving credit to students who put in time and effort working for the Plymouth State student publications and media, most notably The Clock and Centripetal and The Canon (PDF). It is also a means to monitor the amount of work done by practicum students.

All students meet with the instructor/practicum overseer once a week (depending upon whether the student is working with The Clock, Centripetal or with some other student media) to report on their practicum activity for that week. The instructor then confers with the editors of The Clock and Centripetal, and the general manager or news director of WPCR to monitor the time and effort put forth by the practicum students.
