You have a way with words. Of course you do. You are a writer—of poems, of plays, of essays or novels. You are a reader—of books, newspapers, journals, blogs and billboards. Plymouth State University’s English Department is where you will continue to unveil your voice, as a literary or film critic, English teacher, novelist, slam poet or investigative reporter.
As an English major you’ll experience:
- A Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with options in literature, writing, teacher certification and film studies
- Minors in literature, expository writing, film studies and imaginative writing
