Leo Sandy attended the U.S.S. Enterprise CVN 65 Inactivation Ceremony in Norfolk, Virginia last weekend. He is a “plank owner” of the ship, meaning that he was in the first crew 50 years ago. Among other deployments, the ship participated in the Cuban Missile Blockade during his service on it.
