National History Day in NH

National History Day in New Hampshire (NHDNH) is an educational program which encourages middle and high school students to celebrate their skills as historians and exposes them to the processes, sources, and complexities of historical research.

2012 NH State Competition

 

Where: Plymouth State University

When: Saturday, March 31, 2012

Event Schedule: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

1)  Registration and Setup Time:  7:30 – 9:00 a.m.

Place: The Hartman Union Building (HUB)

ALL EXHIBITS MUST BE SET UP BEFORE 9 a.m. AND CAN BE UNLOADED ON HIGH STREET

2)  Judging Begins:  9:00 a.m.

Place: Various Locations—Map distributed at registration

EXHIBIT ROOMS, PAPERS, AND WEBSITES ARE CLOSED TO PUBLIC DURING JUDGING (9a.m. – 1p.m.)

DOCUMENTARIES/PERFORMANCES ARE OPEN TO PUBLIC

3)  Lunch (on your own) 11:30 – 1:00 p.m.

Place: Prospect Mountain Dining Hall or downtown (map provided at registration)

ALL EXHIBITS OPEN TO PUBLIC VIEWING (1:30 p.m. – 3:00p.m.)

4)  Recognition Ceremony:  3:30-4:30 p.m.

Place: Heritage Hall

EXHIBITS CAN BE DISMANTLED AND UNLOADED AFTER CEREMONY
