Do you feel that you have a wide range of interests rather than one specific focus of study? Do you feel like you want to do everything!
If so, maybe a Humanities major is your right fit. Humanities students choose their focus of study in the general area of the World , Medieval and Renaissance, the Americas, or a more personalized focus approved by their Humanities advisor.
Students are encouraged to explore ideas creatively, think critically about themselves and their world, and communicate effectively. Prior to graduation, students pull together what they have learned from their various courses into a Senior Project that involves independent research with the student’s academic interests in mind. This project is presented to the Humanities Council, family, and students and represents a reflection of their studies.
