On May 11, 2011, Matthew Justice presented his Senior Project, As Time Passes Over Cape Ann: A Reflection on the Humanities and Place. His project, linked here in his e-porfolio, documents his reflections and research on this personalized focus. In one of his reflections, Matthew describes what this project has meant to him and how this degree contributed to a personal understanding of himself and his sense of place.

“Everything I had done up until this point, every visit to the Cape Ann Museum, every brainstorming session, every single time I saw the bridge leading to Gloucester, I was shaping my own journey. I’ve never had an experience with with something like this, a project that wasn’t about just an artist, or a book, or a poem. This was the real deal. This was taking everything the Humanities stands for and using the tools I’ve received from Plymouth State University, the help of my advisors, bringing everything full circle.”
