About Professor Blake
Susan Blake joined the faculty in 2011 although she still teaches math full time at the high school level in Bristol, New Hampshire. Her career in education was preceded by almost two decades of accounting in the business world. Her clear love for mathematics and the world of numbers has brought her to the college level where she hopes to impart her passion to the students at PSU. Susan is held in high esteem by many of her former students who have finally been comfortable in the math arena after working with her in any number of high school level math courses. As a beginning Adjunct, Susan will be teaching Problem Solving in Algebra Using Technology, initially. Having been raised in Long Island, New York, Susan takes every opportunity to head for the salt water at the coast with her husband, their two adult daughters and the family’s yellow labs. Her favorite past times include gardening, painting, and being outdoors.
