Elizabeth Daily is Professor of Acting at Plymouth State University. Ms. Daily holds a B.A. in Speech and Dramatic Art and an M.Ed. in Rehabilitation Counseling/Deafness from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She received her M.F.A. in Acting from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro, where she taught acting and drama appreciation. Ms. Daily has studied voice with Louis Colaianni (Linklater), Arthur Lessac and Catherine Fitzmaurice. She has studied acting with Sonia Moore and performed with Tony-Award nominee Anne Pitoniak. She has acted professionally in New England, North Carolina, and West Virginia. Her professional work also includes voice/speech coaching and video and voice-over for commercial and educational purposes. She also teaches sign language at PSU. Her directing credits include The Art of Dining, The Diviners, Noises Off, The Secret Garden, Quilters, Godspell, Hero by Proxy, and A New Brain. She is a member of the Voice and Speech Trainers Association, the Association of Theatre in Higher Education and the New England Theatre Conference.(NETC).
