Are there any other program-related fees?

Nursing students will be responsible for their own uniforms, vaccinations, transportation to and from clinical sites.

Immunization records with all vaccinations and boosters must be up-to-date.  Students must have:

  • Negative PPD (Tuberculin skin test) within 1 year of admission into the program/hire.  Positive PPD responders should have documentation of negative chest x-ray by a health care provider.
  • 3 Hepatitis B vaccines, or documentation of Hepatitis B antibody, or documentation of declination.
  • Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis) vaccination or documentation of declination.
  • 2 MMRs or documentation of immunity to Measles, or documentation by a health care provider of history of Measles.
  • 2 MMRs or documentation of immunity to Mumps, or documentation by a health care provider of history of Mumps.
  • 2 MMRs or documentation of immunity to Rubella, or documentation by a health care provider of history of Rubella.
  • 2 Varicella Vaccines, or documentation of immunity to Varicella or documentation by a health care provider of history of Varicella.
