Can students study part-time?

February 8th, 2011 by Tim

Students accepted into the nursing program may take prerequisite and general education courses on a part-time basis.  Pre-R.N. students begin the nursing sequence in January after all general education, prerequisite and elective coursework is completed.  The nursing sequence is full-time and is completed in a cohort model in 4 consecutive semesters (spring, summer, fall, and spring).

R.N.s in the B.S. Completion program who have completed all prerequisites, general education and elective courses begin the nursing sequence in January and take 6-9 credits a semester in a cohort model for 4 consecutive terms (spring, summer, fall, spring).  Those who still have some electives and/or general education courses to complete may take additional courses during the nursing sequence.
