Covers physical, cognitive, social, emotional and personality development from the preschool period to the beginning of adulthood. Focuses on the interaction of physical and cognitive development. Concentrates on the relationship of wellness in physical growth to cognitive abilities, such as acquiring knowledge, solving problems, comprehending abstract concepts and social skills.
