Tourism Management and Policy Program creates a new certificate in Hospitality Management

November 6th, 2013 by Nikki-Ann

This fall, Carl E. Lindblade, CHA, (a 40 veteran of hospitality in New Hampshire), is teaching the first course, Introduction to Hospitality Management. In addition to class work the course has included field trips to the Visitors Center in Lincoln, a micro brewery and a visit to the iconic Mt. Washington Hotel in Bretton Woods. The next course in the Certificate program, Introduction to Hotel Operations, will be offered in spring 2014.  The Hospitality Management certificate recognizes the vital economic impact and importance of hospitality  both as an industry of the White Mountains and Northern New Hampshire and as an outreach within Plymouth’s mission to serve the North Country.
