The Social Work Department recognizes student achievement by selecting students each year who excel in their academic performance and contributions to the academic and wider community. Four awards are given:
- Outstanding Senior Achievement Award (highest grade point average)
- Outstanding Junior Achievement Award (highest grade point average)
- Outstanding Practicum (Field Placement) Achievement Award
- Outstanding Community Service Award
- Social Work with Older People Award
