The Sodexo Foundation / STOP Hunger

Sodexo’s STOP Hunger Initiative

As part of our commitment to the communities where we do business, Sodexo launched the STOP Hunger initiative to fight hunger and malnutrition. Since 1996, teams have been focused on this effort, working to change the fact that more than 1 billion people suffer from hunger and malnutrition every day. The STOP Hunger initiative has four major focus areas:

  • Volunteering: encouraging and supporting Sodexo employees’ spirit of service to support hunger relief initiatives in their local communities.
  • Sharing Sodexo Expertise: providing nutrition, food safety, food waste education, and job and life skills training for the unemployed and homeless.
  • Food Donations: donating perishable and non-perishable food to hunger relief organizations.
  • Financial Donations: sponsoring and supporting programs that combat hunger and malnutrition.
