
Sodexo is prepared with highly skilled and experienced staff to assist you with all of your campus-catering needs. From planning to presentation, we are able to service small intimate groups of just a few people... or very large groups requiring multi-course meals and detailed presentation.

Reservations
Please fill out the online Catering Request Order Form at least one week prior to your event. When you send in the online order form you immediately get a confirmation and price quote.
If you are planning a banquet or a more elaborate function you should make an appointment to discuss menu and set-up detail. Contact the Catering Office at 535-2379.
There may be an additional charge for extra costs incurred by Sodexo as a result of last minute bookings (less than 48 hours preceding your function). However, we will be prepared to serve a full five percent (5%) over the guaranteed number.
Scheduled Time
It is our desire to serve you promptly at the selected hour. The holding of food at serving temperature for prolonged periods often lessens the item's appeal. Your cooperation is appreciated.
Billing Procedures
Sodexo at PSU is only permitted to cater for groups that have a PSU FOPAL or billing number. Any outside groups must make arrangements to go thru Conference Services for all their catering needs at (603) 535-3187.
Pricing
Pricing is based on our standard professional service on the PSU campus during regular operating hours. Prices for catered functions include the cost of set-up, service, breakdown and clean-up by Sodexo catering crew. Also included is the cost of basic linen service, necessary service ware, and an attractive presentation of the meal.

Additional Charges
Due to the varying levels of service required by our customers and clients, occasionally it is necessary to charge for additional services. These additional charges may include but not be limited to the following:
Location
Some off premises catering sites are difficult for food and equipment delivery, especially when the meal is to be served on china. Lack of set-up space and facilities such as easily accessible running water can also cause difficulties. Functions catered in the usual campus spaces will be quoted at the standard price. Events scheduled in unusual locations will be considered individually.
Hours of Events
Prices on our web site are based on events held during Sodexo's normal hours of operation of 7:00 a.m. until 7p.m. seven days per week while classes are in session. Functions that take place outside of these times will be priced individually.
Minimum Orders and Numbers
There is a $25.00 minimum charge for all catered events during the academic year and a $50.00 minimum charge at all other times. Some of the services offered also require a minimum number of guests and are noted as such. If you cannot meet the minimum number required, in some cases we may still be able to cater the function for an additional charge.
Lengthy Meetings Following Catered Events
When your catered event is followed by a program or a meeting, we must keep our crew until after the conclusion of your program to clear tables and reset the room. For this reason an additional charge may be necessary to cover the expense of extra labor.
Special Set-Ups
All quoted prices typically include basic linen and all necessary dishware and service ware. We also take pride in an attractive presentation which usually includes a simple flower arrangement. In the case of unusually large events or those requiring special dishware, there may be additional charges to cover the cost of rental items. If floral centerpieces or elaborate decorations are requested there may also be extra costs. These additional charges will be confirmed prior to the event.
Planning Your Function
Prior to calling the Catering Office you must reserve the space for your function with the appropriate department. You will also need to make arrangements for your own media set-ups and contact Physical Plant if you need extra tables.
When contacting us (Sodexo) we will need:
- A copy of your Catering Request Form, to include:
- The department/organization sponsoring the function
- Purpose of the event
- Description of the event (i.e. meeting, reception, etc.)
- Date and Time (start to finish)
- Location and confirmed reservation
- Estimated number of guests
- Type of menu and your budget
- The account number/billing address and responsible person
- Set-up details (i.e. location of table, linen, flowers, etc.)
- Follow-up date for confirmation and guaranteed number
