Faculty Diversity Fellowship 2008-2009 – Request for Applications

Plymouth State University has continued to expand its institutional focus on diversity issues in a variety of ways that involve students, staff, and faculty. Progress has been made in the areas of campus services and campus activities, and faculty members continue to incorporate diversity topics throughout the curriculum. These goals are important because Plymouth State, as a regional university, has a responsibility to provide diversity-related leadership and is dedicated to providing learning experiences that promote understanding and respect for all people and constructive discourse that includes a range of perspectives. PSU strives to create an environment which supports diversity, equity and inclusiveness for the entire community and strives to prepare students to participate respectfully and responsibly in a pluralistic society. Nurturing the institutional value through recruitment, operations, and the curriculum are critically important in efforts to attract and retain diverse individuals as members of our learning community.
