APE Helpers- Keeping You From Going Bannanas From Photoshop Elements
Rotating an Image

1). On the menu bar go to Image ->Rotate

2). From here you will have several options.
  • 90˚ Left, 90˚ Right, 180˚, Flip Horizontal, and Flip Vertical all do what their names say.
  • Custom . . . allows you to specify a certain degree of angle rotation that you desire.
  • Free Rotate Layer . . . , Layer 90˚ Left, Layer 90˚ Right, Layer 180˚, Flip Layer Horizontal, and Flip Layer Vertical all only affect the current selected layer.   See [Switching Layers] procedure for details on how to select a layer.
  • Straighten and Crop Image, A.P.E. will automatically straighten and crop the image to the rectangular extents of the image.   Note: A.P.E. will rotate the image to create the smallest rectangular extents possible.
  • Straighten Image does the same thing as Straighten and Crop Image without cropping the image.
