By contrast, our war on nature has had devastating results: environmental degradation, human slavery, and the inhumane treatment of animals, to name just a few. It is a major threat to our very existence. This year’s Sidore Lecture Series will explore the various ways the war on nature is being waged, with the hope of eradicating behaviors that threaten all inhabitants of Earth.
