About Professor Garcia

Wilson A. Garcia earned his bachelor’s degree in foreign languages from the University of Antioquia in Colombia (1997), received his MEd for teacher certification in Spanish (2007), his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (2010), and his Doctor of Education degree (2015) from Plymouth State University.

He teaches Spanish language courses at all levels, from Fundamentals of Spanish to Survey of Literary Masterpieces of Spain II. In addition, he offers Hispanic Culture in the US and Survey of US-Latino Literature in English.

Dr. Garcia says “As a learner of English, I am aware about the frustration and difficulties that students sometimes face during their learning process. Therefore, I am always looking to help them overcome these cultural and linguistic barriers in a friendly and enriching way.”
