1 High Street - Eco House

Much of the work being completed at the Eco House is structural in nature.  Improving the structure will allow for future student projects through a grant program.  Work includes: Replacing foundation walls on the North and North East sides of the building with a “Greenblock” system.  Installation of a foundation drainage system connected to a new yard drain.  The yard drain will be constructed with a bio retention swale.  Structural reinforcements are being added to the floor joists of the first floor.  The main sills are being replaced as necessary. The main roof rafter will be spliced. The former parking area will be grassed in with the exception of two parking spaces.
