Winsom and Kayiga are two Jamaican born artists who, though they have known each other since student days in Kingston, have pursued highly individual directions in their art and work in several countries. Each has achieved distinction, yet each has also retained a profound interest in the pervasive presence of spiritual forces in the phenomenal world. The conjunction of their interest in the mystical is seen in their paintings, sculptures and installations.
