Ecoart provides many lenses through which to see and experience nature and the intersection of nature and culture: Inside/outside; micro/macro; personal/social; reflective/collaborative. Ecoart offers a wide range of approaches, media, and forms, from using natural materials found on site to recreating and reenergizing communities through building social capital. As a practice within the larger field of community art, ecoartists apply their VISION and IMAGINATION to PLACE to inspire new ways of seeing and responding to the human and non-human communities in which they live.
