Jane Bjerklie-Barry

Jane Bjerklie-Barry has worked at Plymouth State since 2007. She is the international student advisor for all undergraduate and graduate students. In addition to her work advising international students, she works closely with Admissions and ELS Language Centers on the matriculation of ELS students to PSU, is co-coordinator for globally-oriented campus programming and orientation for incoming international students, and is co-chair of International Education Week. She serves on the Internationalization Steering Committee, the President’s Commission on Diversity, the Service Learning Task Force, and the Professional Development Committee. She also serves on the NH International Education Conference Planning Committee. Professional memberships include NAFSA and The World Affairs Council of NH. Jane is not only passionate about building, guiding and advising the global student population at PSU, but also in nurturing the sustained support of a diverse and cultural environment on our campus. She has an abiding interest in community affairs, and served as a member of the Holderness Central School Board, as well as on the boards of the Holderness ACE Afterschool Program, the Holderness PTA, and White Mountain Youth Hockey. Married with two sons, she lives in Holderness, NH.
