PSU Global Engagement Opportunities

Three Plymouth State University programs focused on global leadership within PSU’s campus  are now accepting applications for the Fall 2015/Spring 2016 academic year. Global Ambassadors (2015/2016): The Global Ambassadors is a unique student leadership program whose mission is to promote global awareness at PSU and to develop globally minded student leaders through event planning, project development and other related programs. Check out the Global Ambassadors on facebook.

Global Orientation Leader program (Fall Int’l Orientation, 2015): Global Orientation Leaders (GOLs) are students who will welcome PSU’s incoming international students. GOLs will be a main part of the 2015 Fall international orientation programs that will include social events, welcoming parties, shopping trips, cultural and academic presentations, and be a general mentor for newcomers to the United States, and Plymouth State University!

CGE Student Coordinator (2015/2016): Center for Global Engagement Student Coordinators receive a paid fellowship to engage with, oversee and become involved with all aspects of the Center for Global Engagement office in Mary Lyon, Lower Level. This includes (but not limited to) involvement with international student orientation, the Global Ambassador leadership program, Conversation Partners, Language Circles, managing daily aspects of the CGE, managing social media and more. Student Coordinators must have established leadership skills and an unwavering commitment to the goals of the Center of Global Engagement.
