The Global Ambassadors program is a unique student leadership program whose mission is to promote global awareness at PSU and to develop globally minded student leaders through event planning, project development and other related programs. Check out the Global Ambassadors on facebook.

Global Orientation Leaders (GOLs) are students who will welcome PSU’s incoming international students. GOLs will be key team leaders for the 2016 Fall international orientation program (August 21-26) which includes immigration, academic and cultural presentations, welcoming and social events, shopping trips, and be mentors for newcomers to the United States, and Plymouth State University! GOLs will also be involved with PSU’s New Student Orientation (August 26-28).

Global Engagement Office Student Coordinators (GSC) receive a paid fellowship to engage with, oversee and become involved with all aspects of the Global Engagement Office in Mary Lyon, Lower Level. This includes (but not limited to) involvement with international student orientation, the Global Ambassador leadership program, Panther Partners, Language Circles and Culture Shares, managing daily aspects of the GEO, managing social media and more. Student Coordinators must have established leadership skills and an unwavering commitment to the goals of the Global Engagement Office. GSCs are selected by the staff of GEO.
