Spring Orientation 2014

 

Our International Student Orientation program will get you fully prepared for successful student life at PSU!  The program is comprehensive and follows the best practices in the industry, combining University information sessions with federally mandated immigration information, exposure and introduction to the surrounding community, cross-cultural training,  opportunity to get settled (ex: shopping for dorm living, opening bank accounts, purchasing cell phones) and meeting new friends.   The Orientation team is comprised of University staff and an amazing group of student leaders.  Hallmarks of the program include:

–Boston airport pickup (Fall Orientation only)

–tour of campus and immediate community/Town of Plymouth

–academic program and academic advising information

–session on personal safety, as well as local/state/federal laws and legal system with local law enforcement officials

–immigration information

–cross-cultural information sessions

–banking, shopping

–excursions to local attractions

–social activities with Residential Life and Student Activities Departments

We guarantee by the first day of classes you will be well-informed about student life at Plymouth State, and will have had many opportunities to meet and make new friends, have fun and be ready to start your academic career here!  The general schedule is:
