Advance your career with a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS). Designed for students who already have a master’s degree, Plymouth State offers a variety of CAGS programs to choose from and many of the CAGS courses can be applied toward PSU’s doctoral programs.
CAGS in Arts, Leadership, and Learning is designed for classroom teachers, art educators, and administrators who wish to pursue post-master’s coursework in integrating arts as part of the core curriculum.
CAGS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling is intended for counselors who aspire to be leaders in the field of mental health counseling.
CAGS in Higher Education will give students the background needed for successful careers in a variety of Higher Education environments. There are two concentrations to choose from:
CAGS in Educational Leadership addresses the needs of practicing educators interested in pursuing advanced academic work in educational change and leadership. Students can also design their program of study in the following concentration areas:
- Curriculum Administrator, K-12
- Reading and Writing Specialist, K-12
- School Principal, K-12
- Special Education Administration, K-12
- Superintendent of Schools, K-12
CAGS in School Psychology is designed for students who have earned a master’s degree in a school psychology related discipline.
With rolling admission, you may start your program during any term and can take up to 12 CAGS credits before being admitted to Plymouth State.
