Tek Scan MatScan® System
Yet another piece of equipment is the Tek Scan MatScan® System. This device not only allows for the mapping of the pressure under the foot in a weight bearing position, but also provides for tracking the translation of center of pressure during semi-dynamic and dynamic movement activities.
Additionally available is the Biotonix Bioprint which allows for a computerized static postural assessment.
For Dynamic Postural Assessment, the Body Map is available. This system was designed by the National Academy of Sports Medicine and is use to qualitatively assess movement and performance dysfunction.
