How many classes are required to complete the program?
There are 10 courses in the online MBA in General Management with a focus in Health Care Administration.

How long is each term?
Each term is approximately 10 weeks.

How long does the program take to complete?
The MBA program offers 4 terms per year. By taking one class per term, you can complete the program in 2 1/2 years.

Can I take time off during the program?
Yes! You can take up to six years to complete the program from the time you are admitted. If you are not enrolled in a class each term, you won’t be eligible for a loan during that term; however, loans from your MBA won’t go into repayment as long as your time off does not extend more than 6 consecutive months.

I was accepted for winter but I want to start in spring. Is that okay?
Yes! Visit the Academics webpage for further information pertaining to upcoming term schedules and instructions on registering for courses.

I completed my application—now what?
You will receive an e-mail confirming the successful submission of the online portion of your application, and highlighting what application materials (if any) are still missing.  Once your outstanding materials have been received, you will receive another e-mail confirming that your application is now moving into the review process.

How many credits do I have to take to be eligible for financial aid?
You must enroll in a minimum of three 3 credits per term to be eligible for financial aid for that term. If you are not enrolled in a class each term, you won’t be eligible for a loan during that term; however, loans from your MBA won’t go into repayment as long as your time off does not extend more than 6 consecutive months.

I am a science major. Can I still participate?
Yes! The program is designed for non-business majors. In fact, many Plymouth State MBA students are non-business majors.

I go to Davenport/Phoenix can I transfer?
Yes! Students who have earned graduate credits from an accredited institution prior to enrolling in PSU’s MBA degree program may request up to 15 credit hours of business or business-related courses be considered for transfer. Grades for transfer courses must be at the B level or higher (on an A = 4.0 scale) and appropriate to the MBA program. Only credits are transferred, not grades; therefore, the grades for transfer courses do not count toward the required 3.0 grade point average for program completion. No course more than six years old at the time of admittance will count toward or transfer to the PSU MBA degree.

When can I expect my financial aid reimbursement check?
Plymouth will mail reimbursement checks 1-2 weeks after the start of the term to a US address you designate.

Will AUA let me know the status of my Plymouth admission or financial aid application?
No, AUA does not have access to the Plymouth student information system. AUA can only confirm receipt of the FERPA release form.

Will my grades from Plymouth affect my standing/GPA at AUA?
No, the programs are separate. Academic standing at AUA will not affect eligibility at Plymouth or vice versa.

Are all the classes online?
Yes! The entire MBA in General Management with a focus in Health Care Administration is delivered online. Successful MBA graduates will be invited to attend Commencement ceremonies in Plymouth, NH, on completion of their degree.
