Professor of Business and Communication & Media Studies
Warren Mason has worked as an investment representative, a principal in the hotel and restaurant industry, and an advertising and promotion manager for financial institutions. He also belongs to the New England Yankee Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, where he has been active on the Education Committee. He belongs to educational associations, such as the Association for Business Communication, for which he is a frequent academic speaker, and professional societies, such as the Public Relations Society of America.
Mason is a frequent speaker in the United States and Canada for academic, civic, and professional groups and has been interviewed on both radio and instructional television. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for The James Jones Society, a nonprofit international literary organization that financially supports creative writing. He has written articles on media relations and crisis communication that have appeared in professional publications.
Mason has been a commentator on media and political issues relating to the New Hampshire primary. He has also participated in a series of political interviews for National Public Radio and one by the New York Times. Mason is a member of the Association of Professional Communication Consultants and regularly advises industry and business organizations on public relations and media issues.
