In addition to teaching part-time in the philosophy department, the Frost School for Continuing Education, and the first-year seminar program, Michael Allen teaches a core education course in philosophy, ethics, and education. Allen has presented 15 papers at national philosophy conferences and is a frequent contributor to Fordham University Press, Dictionary of Modern American Philosophers, International Journal for Comparative Philosophy and Culture, and The Maine Scholar.
