John Rosene came to Plymouth State University in 2003 and is currently expanding the exercise physiology program and the human performance laboratory. Rosense is a certified athletic trainer and serves as head athletic trainer for PSU football. He has extensive experience in athletic training, strength and conditioning, and overall performance enhancement. He has worked with a variety of athletic populations including serving as the strength and conditioning coach for the AHL’s Portland Pirates as well as collegiate athletes at the Division I, II, and III levels.
Rosene’s areas of expertise include exercise physiology and athletic training. Rosene is a frequent contributor to publications including Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise and the Journal of Athletic Training and he has presented at the American College of Sports Medicine annual meeting for several years.
