Program Coordinator of Adventure-Based Activities
Angel Ekstrom has taught Recreation Program Design, Recreation Leadership, Introduction to Recreation, Rock Climbing, Mountaineering, Snow Orientation, Winter Backcountry Travel, Mountain Orientation, Challenge Course Fundamentals, Paddling Fundamentals, Canyon Orientation, Backpacking, Adventure Skills, Ropes Facilitator Courses, Map/Compass Orienteering, Lifeguarding, Professional CPR, Standard First Aid, AED, Oxygen Administration, etc., at Colorado Mountain College (CMC), the University of NE at Omaha (UNO) and now at Plymouth State University (PSU). She has also worked for the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) and Colorado Outward Bound School (COBS) as a field instructor. Angel has worked as a professional ski patroller and was a manager and guide for Snowest Snowmobile Tours in Colorado. She has also spent 10 summers working for several summer camp programs.
