Profile
Dr. Lee joined Plymouth State University as Assistant Professor at Health and Human Performance Department in 2005. She is the Coordinator of Coaching Education program and the Assistant Coach for Women's Swimming since 2006-2007 season. She is teaching courses in both undergraduate and graduate levels. Graduate courses she has taught are Health Psychology, Statistics for Health Sciences, and Sport Psychology (Summer 2007). Undergraduate course she has taught includes Foundations of Physical Education, Motor Development, Motor Learning, Measurement and Assessment of Physical Education, Evaluation and Research in Health Promotion, Sport in Society, Fitness Testing Skills, Resistance Training Techniques, Adaptation and Inclusion of Physical Activity, First Year Seminar: Critical Thinking, Beginning Golf/Golf, Fitness Walking/Jogging, and Relaxation. Prior to joining Plymouth State University, Dr. Lee taught undergraduate courses at Elms College, American International College, Springfield College, and post-secondary courses at College of Careers at Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong, and was the Research Assistant at Professional Golf Association (PGA) Tour in summer 2002.

Dr. Lee's research interests include coaching education, sport and exercise psychology, measurement and assessment of physical education and exercise sciences, motor learning, and Olympic Movement.

Professional Experience

Dr. Lee served as the Assistant Coach for Men's and Women's Swimming at Springfield College (1999 – 2005) and assist the Women's team to captured the New England Women's and Men's Athletics Conference (NEWMAC) champion and the top three for the Men's team for five consecutive years. She is currently the Assistant Coach for Women's Swimming at Plymouth State University. Dr. Lee is a Lifeguard Training Instructor, Professional Rescuer for CPR/First Aid, Water Safety Instructor, Water Safety Instructor Trainer certified by American Red Cross. She also teaches courses for the Community Aquatic Program at Plymouth State University in summer. She was invited to be the Visiting Swimming Coach for the Triathlon Department at Hong Kong Sport Development Board (currently named Hong Kong Sport Institute) to coach swimming for national level triathletes in summer 2001.

Prior to her endeavor to graduate studies, she was the Assistant Principal Program Secretary at Recreation and Sport Department of the Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong. Her major responsibility was to supervise the aquatic programs, and taught post-secondary physical education courses at College of Careers, Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong.

Dr. Lee was a competitive swimmer and triathlete. She was the National Junior Triathlon Female Champion in Hong Kong (1990 - 1992), and member of Hong Kong National Junior Triathlon Squad (1989-1995), Hong Kong Delegate to the Asian Triathlon Championships (1991 & 1992), and the 4th Runner-Up (Women's Open) at Port Dickson International Triathlon Championships in Malaysia (1991). She qualified the World Triathlon Championships (Women Junior) in 1991, and was the finalist of Hong Kong National Swimming Championships (1987, 1988), and Hong Kong Intercollegiate Swimming Championships (1994 – 1996).
