Barbara Lopez-Mayhew, Ph.D.

Languages and Linguistics
Dr. Lopez-Mayhew has a continuing interest in Spanish Literature, pedagogy, online assessment tools, proficiency principles, technology in the language classroom, communicative language teaching and cooperative learning groups, and on creating successful learning experiences for all students. She supervises Plymouth State University Languages and Linguistics student teachers, and advises students with study and work abroad opportunities. She serves as chair of the Department of Languages and Linguistics. Dr. Lopez-Mayhew was nominated in 2006 for the third time for inclusion in Who's Who among America's Teachers.
