Morrison, MSN, CNS, APRN, BC, NPP, MBA is an attorney and international speaker on health care law and ethics. She worked with nurses and police officers on foren¬sic health care issues in South Africa after Nelson Mandela's release from prison, and with families and rescue workers after the Egypt Air plane crash into the sea near Nantucket Island when she was deployed by the Department of Health and Human Services. A former captain (USAR), Ms. Morrison is well known for her work in Massachusetts with veterans on a variety of health care and legal matters. She has consulted with National University Hospital, a 1,000-bed Joint Commission International tertiary hospital in Singapore. Ms. Morrison has served on a number of ethics committees and lectures on all nursing specialties, includ¬ing risk management. A former forensic psychiatric litigator, she has defended nurses before the Board of Nursing in Massachusetts. She has published more than a dozen peer-reviewed articles on nursing and the law.
