Profile
Carmen has been an English as a Second Language teacher for 6 years working with students in grades K-12. She spent 4 years working with elementary ESL students, whose first language is Spanish, in an urban school in a large metropolitan city . She is currently working in a low-incidence school district located in White River Junction, VT with students in grades K-12. Carmen also worked for a refugee resettlement agency and their summer camp that prepares students for the transition to the American school system.
