Profile

Ms. Maslakowski is a healthcare leader with over 25 years of experience in pharmacy and acute care hospital operations, both civilian and military. Ms. Maslakowski is an experienced project manager, and has implemented many programs and technologies to increase operational efficiency in the pharmacy, IT and hospital support departments. This includes implementation of infrastructure hardware (Nortel and Cisco), storage area networks, disaster recovery systems, interface engines, telecommunications, new hospital information systems, (Mckesson, Misys, Meditech, Quadramed) Pyxis, Micromedex, barcoding, document imaging, PACS, telemedicine and teleradiology systems. Ms Maslakowski has published many articles on utilizing mobile technologies for decision support at the bedside to obtain physician acceptance of the electronic health record. Positions held include pharmacy instructor at the Army Academy of Health Sciences, Director of Hospital Pharmacy, Director of Information Systems, Chief Information Officer, and Chief Operating Officer.
