Profile
Laura Clauss teaches graduate courses on the medical aspects of eating disorders for PSU’s eating disorder certification program. As a certified advanced registered nurse practitioner and a certified eating disorder specialist, she has been involved in treating eating disorders for 30 years. Clauss is currently the medical director, as well as the president and CEO of The Center for Eating Disorders Management, Inc. located in Dover and Bedford, N.H. Her additional experience includes substance abuse counseling, family practice and hospital nursing. She has also been a coordinator of Eating Disorders Awareness Week for the National Eating Disorders Association.

Research Interests

Eating disorders, substance abuse, mental health disorders, spirituality and recovery, chronic fibromyalgia syndrome, chronic fatigue syndrome and mind/body/spirit medicine
