Profile

Marianne True is an Associate Professor and Coordinator of the Educational Leadership Program at Plymouth State University. She has worked in public schools as a teacher, assistant principal and principal. Marianne was recognized as a Distinguished Graduate Teacher at PSU in 2005. She was selected as the New Hampshire Teacher of the Year in 1989 and was awarded the New Hampshire Excellence in Education Award in 2003. In addition to teaching courses at PSU in Observation and Assessment, Organizational Leadership, Contemporary Trends and Planning and Problem Solving, Marianne works with school districts throughout the state on issues such as differentiation, classroom management, and the change process. She is the Editor of the New Hampshire Journal of Education.
