Profile

Pamela Tinker worked as a school library media specialist for 15 years before assuming her current position as director of library services for the Merrimack School District in 1998. As a member of the school district administrative team, she is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the district’s six school libraries. Her specific responsibilities include supervising and evaluating all building library personnel, budgeting, purchasing, cataloging and collection development. At Plymouth State University, Tinker teaches courses in reference and research, and learning resource centers and services.
